Arbitration Forum SCO and China
The China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), in cooperation with the Xinjiang Committee for the Promotion of International Trade of China and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, organized the SCO-China Arbitration Forum on April 25, 2025, in Urumqi, People’s Republic of China, under the theme: “Pooling efforts for cooperation in arbitration and embarking on a new path under the rule of law.”
The representative from Sughd Region at this Forum was Mr. Nosirov M.R., Head of the Department of Legal Support, Human Resources, and Special Affairs of the State Institution “Sughd” Free Economic Zone Administration.
During the Forum, issues of strengthening exchanges and cooperation between dispute resolution institutions — members of the SCO and regions of Central Asia — were discussed. The procedures for judicial support of arbitration and assistance in the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards in the respective regions were also reviewed.
The Administration of the Sughd Free Economic Zone expresses its sincere gratitude to the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan for the initiative and assistance in organizing participation in the international legal Forum. We hope for close cooperation and to use the acquired information to promote services for the resolution of international commercial disputes and to facilitate economic connectivity.
