PARTNERSHIP SEARCH WITH CHINESE COMPANIES
On May 14 of this year, the International Business Forum commenced its activities in the province of Xinjiang. The primary objective of the forum was to seek and establish partnerships between Chinese companies and business communities from near and far abroad, as well as to showcase the accomplishments of local companies in producing competitive goods.
This high-profile event was organized at the initiative of the Yiwu International Trade Group Co.
Among the distinguished delegates, the head of Administration of Sughd Free Economic Zone, Muhammadzoda Muhammad Sulton, was honored with an invitation to participate in the forum.
On the first day, following the opening ceremony, the guests visited the Free Economic Zone of Kashgar City. This visit resulted in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the authorities of FEZ Sughd and Kashgar FEZ to explore opportunities for cooperation.
Later that day, a meeting was convened with officials and entrepreneurs of Kashgar city, aimed at discussing prospects for collaboration with visiting representatives, particularly from Central Asia, in mutually beneficial trade and the production of high-quality, sought-after products. The head of the Administration of the Sughd FEZ engaged in negotiations with representatives of Chinese manufacturing companies during the B2B meetings to explore the possibilities and prospects of cooperation, including the establishment of new joint ventures in the Sughd FEZ.
At the end of the first day of the forum, an extensive meeting of business representatives from the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China took place. This meeting saw vigorous discussions on initiatives and prospects for the formation of mutually beneficial cooperation. Additionally, memorandums and agreements were signed between several entrepreneurs and companies from the two friendly countries.
The Forum will continue its activities until May 21st.
