Press Conference of the Head of the Administration of the Sughd Free Economic Zone on the Results of Activities for the First Half of 2026
On August 17, 2026, a press conference of the Head of the Administration of the Sughd Free Economic Zone was held at the Administration of the Sughd FEZ to present the results of the Zone’s activities for the first half of 2026.
During the press conference, the Head of the Administration of the Sughd FEZ, Muhammadzoda Muhammad Sulton, presented the key results of the Zone’s activities, including investment attraction, production development, growth in the volume of manufactured products and exports, creation of new jobs, the activities of FEZ entities, and other economic indicators.
It was noted that during the reporting period, the necessary measures were implemented to further develop the activities of the Sughd FEZ entities, attract domestic and foreign investment, and create favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activities.
Particular attention during the press conference was paid to international cooperation, attracting foreign investors, implementing new production projects, increasing the export potential of enterprises, and creating new jobs.
During the press conference, the Head of the Administration provided specific answers to questions from media representatives regarding the activities of the Sughd FEZ, future development plans, investment attraction, and the prospects for the activities of the Zone’s entities. At the same time, he invited media representatives to participate in the International Forum “Digitalization of Free Economic Zones in the Context of Eurasian Countries,” which will be held on August 27–28, 2026, in the city of Guliston.
As part of the event, the Head of the Administration, in a ceremonial atmosphere and in the presence of media representatives, presented a certificate confirming the status of a Sughd FEZ entity to the new FEZ entity, Khushbakhti Sughd LLC, whose future activities will focus on providing innovative services.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that the Administration of the Sughd FEZ will continue to take effective measures aimed at developing industrial production, increasing export volumes, attracting new investments, and creating new jobs.
Following the press conference, representatives of the media also visited several entities of the Sughd FEZ, including Sayri Sughd LLC and the Agrologistics Center.
