MEETING OF THE FIRST DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF TAJIKISTAN, HONORABLE MALIKSHO NE’MATZODA, AT THE FEZ “SUGHD” ADMINISTRATION WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF THE MANAGEMENT AND RESIDENT ENTITIES ON THE EXPLANATION OF THE LEADER OF THE NATION’S ADDRESS

On January 29, 2025, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration between the First Deputy Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, Honorable Maliksho Ne’matzoda, and representatives of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration, heads of resident entities, as well as faculty members and students of the Institute of Industry and Services.

The meeting was opened by the Head of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration, Muhammad Muhamadzoda Sultan, who expressed sincere gratitude to Maliksho Ne’matzoda and to the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the PDPT in Sughd Region, Salimzoda Jahongir, for their continuous cooperation and support of FEZ “Sughd.”

In his speech, Maliksho Ne’matzoda emphasized that the Address of the Leader of the Nation, as an important political and strategic document, defines the priority directions of the country’s socio-economic development and sets specific tasks for industrialists and youth.

It was also noted that the active participation of young people, especially university students, in implementing the goals outlined in the Address is an important factor in advancing the industrial sector. The close integration of production with science and education can contribute to training specialists who meet labor market demands.

Furthermore, the Head of the Administration expressed confidence that the meeting would leave a positive impression on representatives of the Administration, the industrial sector, and students, and would also contribute to increasing membership in the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan within the primary party organization “Vatandust” and other primary organizations of the Zone’s entities.

At the end of the meeting, the heads of active resident entities of FEZ “Sughd,” including LLC “Real,” LLC “Donai Almos,” LLC “Star Plat,” and LLC JV TT “Afrang Plastic,” were awarded certificates of appreciation from the FEZ “Sughd” Administration by Honorable Maliksho Ne’matzoda. Additionally, 20 employees of the Administration received party membership certificates as new members of the PDPT.

TREE-PLANTING CAMPAIGN AND MEETING WITH LABOR VETERANS AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE NEW FEZ “SUGHD” ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

As part of the visit, a tree-planting campaign was held in the courtyard of the new FEZ “Sughd” Administration building with the participation of the First Deputy Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, Honorable Maliksho Ne’matzoda, and the leadership of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration. It was noted that planting evergreen trees will play an important role in maintaining clean air and improving the environmental standards of FEZ “Sughd.” The Head of the Administration emphasized that greening initiatives have become a regular tradition in the Zone and will continue in the future.

Additionally, during the working visit, Honorable Maliksho Ne’matzoda met with labor veterans of the Zone’s resident enterprises at the entrance of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration. A warm and sincere meeting was held, during which their many years of dedicated service in developing the industrial sector, establishing production enterprises, and training qualified specialists were especially highlighted. The industry veterans expressed their gratitude to the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan for its continuous attention and recognition of their contributions.

VISIT OF THE FIRST DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF TAJIKISTAN, HONORABLE MALIKSHO NE’MATZODA, TO FEZ “SUGHD”

As part of a working visit, the First Deputy Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, Honorable Maliksho Ne’matzoda, visited the Free Economic Zone “Sughd” on January 29, 2026.

The distinguished guest was warmly welcomed at the entrance of the Zone by the Head of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration, Muhammad Muhamadzoda Sultan, who introduced him to the activities of the Zone’s resident entities.

During the visit, Maliksho Ne’matzoda became acquainted with the production processes, the utilization of existing capacities, the implementation of modern technologies, and the working conditions of employees. He highly praised the quality of products manufactured by the resident companies — LLC “Asiapoliteks” and LLC JV TT “Afrang Plastic.”

Representatives of the (RUMTI) Project of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Visited FEZ “Sughd”

On January 28, 2026, representatives of the (RUMTI) project of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation paid a study visit to the Free Economic Zone “Sughd” within the framework of the project.

The project representatives, led by Abdulvohid Boronov, familiarized themselves with the production process of LLC “Asiapoliteks.”

The guests then visited LLC “Donai Almos,” where they observed the production process and held discussions with the company’s management.

The delegation also visited the construction site of the Logistics Center and became acquainted with the progress of construction works.

Following visits to the production enterprises, the delegation arrived at the Administration of FEZ “Sughd.”

The guests were warmly welcomed in the conference hall by the Head of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration, Muhammad Muhamadzoda Sultan, who provided detailed information about the activities, advantages, and incentives of the Zone.

The representatives of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, led by Abdulvohid Boronov, expressed their gratitude to the Administration’s leadership for the warm reception and comprehensive information provided, and stated their intention to take steps toward continuing and expanding cooperation.

The guests noted that the meeting serves as a solid foundation for further partnership and expressed their interest in focusing on the exchange of practical experience in the field of production.

MEETING TO SUMMARIZE THE 2025 PERFORMANCE OF THE FEZ “SUGHD” ADMINISTRATION AND SET TASKS FOR 2026

On January 20, 2026, a working meeting was held at the conference hall of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration under the chairmanship of the Head of the Administration, Muhammad Muhamadzoda Sultan. The meeting focused on summarizing the results of the Administration’s and FEZ “Sughd” residents’ activities in 2025, as well as setting objectives for 2026.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Heads of the Administration, heads of departments and divisions, as well as directors and chief accountants of the Zone’s resident companies.

The session was opened with introductory remarks by the Head of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration, Muhammad M. S. A detailed report on the 2025 performance results was delivered in presentation format by the First Deputy Head of the Administration, Nasimjon Abdughanievich Hakimov.

Muhamadzoda M.S. assigned specific tasks to the participants in line with the instructions and directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, particularly regarding the country’s industrialization policy and the special attention given to entrepreneurship and the creation of new jobs, as outlined in his annual Address delivered on December 16, 2025.

At the same time, the Head of the Administration positively assessed the activities of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration and its resident entities in 2025. He issued instructions aimed at further improving efficiency, enhancing infrastructure conditions, increasing the number of new jobs, ensuring timely payment for electricity and land lease fees, raising the average wages of employees, installing solar panels at enterprises, organizing community clean-up days within the Zone, planting evergreen trees and seasonal flowers on company premises, and continuing the construction of pedestrian pathways along the main roads of the Zone.

In conclusion, the Administration’s leadership provided additional guidance and recommendations to further intensify production and export activities and to attract both domestic and foreign investment.

VISIT OF A DELEGATION OF INVESTORS FROM THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC TO FEZ “SUGHD”

On January 19, 2026, a delegation of investors from the Kyrgyz Republic visited the Free Economic Zone “Sughd.” The delegation was led by Mr. Elbek Khabibulloev, representative of the Kyrgyz Garment Association, Ms. Diloramkhan Duishabaeva, and Ms. Aigul Nurmatovna Zholdoshova, Head of the textile company LLC “Ecotex” of the Kyrgyz Republic. The purpose of the visit was to ознаком themselves with the activities and opportunities of FEZ “Sughd.”

The guests were warmly welcomed at the entrance of FEZ “Sughd” by the First Deputy Head of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration, N.A. Hakimov, and the Deputy Head of the Administration, D.M. Ne’matzoda. They provided the delegation with detailed information about the Zone’s operations, advantages, and incentives.

In addition, the Administration introduced the investors to the activities of FEZ “Sughd” resident LLC “Asiapoliteks,” whose line of business is similar to that of the visiting company.

After ознакомление with the production process and holding discussions with the company’s management, the delegation of investors from the Kyrgyz Republic considered it appropriate to conclude a cooperation agreement in the future.

At the end of the visit, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen economic cooperation.
