On December 26, 2025, a group of investors from the People’s Republic of China, led by Ms. Suji and Ms. Zhong Hebei, along with representatives of the rice processing and packaging company “Feida Jituan” (PRC), paid a visit to the Administration of the Free Economic Zone “Sughd”.
The guests were received by the Head of the Administration of the FEZ “Sughd”, Muhammad-zoda Muhammad Sulton, at the Administration’s conference hall. He briefed the investors on the activities of the zone and the existing incentives, emphasizing that the Administration of the FEZ “Sughd” is ready to provide comprehensive support for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with entrepreneurs and investors from the People’s Republic of China.
Subsequently, the leading specialist of the Administration’s Department of International Relations and Investment Attraction, Rahimova Umedakhon, delivered a detailed presentation to the guests on the activities, incentives, and advantages of the FEZ “Sughd”.
At the same time, the entrepreneurs visited the available land plots within the territory of the FEZ “Sughd” and expressed their readiness to further strengthen economic relations.
On December 18, 2025, personnel changes were held in the positions of First Deputy Head, Deputy Head, and Head of the Administrative Office at the Administration of the Free Economic Zone (FEZ) “Sughd”.
The opening speech was delivered by the Head of the Administration of the FEZ “Sughd”, Muhammadzo da Muhammad Sulton, who warmly welcomed the representative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan — Head of the Department for Administration of Free Economic Zones, Khuseynov Jovid Mahmudovich — to the new Administration building.
Thereafter, the ministry representative introduced the staff of the Administration to the Order of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan on the appointment of Hakimov Nasimjon Abduganievich as First Deputy Head of the Administration of the FEZ “Sughd”, as well as the appointment of Ne’matzoda Dilovarsho Mahmadsho as Deputy Head of the Administration of the FEZ “Sughd”, wishing them success in their future work and activities.
At the same time, based on the Order of the Head of the Administration of the FEZ “Sughd”, Muhammadzo da Muhammad Sulton, the appointment of Nosirov Ma’rufjon Rustamjonovich as Head of the Administrative Office of the Administration of the FEZ “Sughd” was announced.
In conclusion, the Head of the Administration congratulated the newly appointed officials and encouraged them to demonstrate high professional responsibility and make a significant contribution to the further development of the zone.
On December 8, 2025, investors from the Islamic Republic of Iran — Mr. Nasir Shohkarami, Consultant of a dried fruit processing enterprise in the city of Khorramabad, and Dr. Vahid Mostavi, Representative of a pharmaceutical company in the city of Tehran — paid a visit to the Administration of the Free Economic Zone “Sughd”.
The Head of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration, Muhammadzo da Muhammad Sulton, warmly welcomed the guests at the Administration’s conference hall and, in his opening remarks, highlighted the development of bilateral relations between the two friendly and linguistically related countries. He emphasized that these relations are being strengthened under the leadership of the Heads of State — the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Masoud Pezeshkian. Detailed information on the activities, advantages, and incentives of the FEZ “Sughd” was also provided.
The guests then visited one of the FEZ “Sughd” entities, LLC “Donai Almos”, where they held discussions with the management regarding production volumes and export of products.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Iranian entrepreneurs noted the favorable investment climate in the FEZ “Sughd” and expressed their readiness for future cooperation.
On October 25, 2025, the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Ashurboi Abduvohid Solehzoda, paid a working visit to the Administration of the “Sughd” Free Economic Zone.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize himself with the activities of the Administration of the FEZ “Sughd” and the progress of construction works at the zone’s enterprises.
The Head of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration, Mr. Muhammad Sultan Muhammadzoda, warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and presented a detailed report on the progress of construction works of the zone’s entities and the condition of the commemorative facilities.
As part of the working visit, Mr. Solehzoda visited the enterprise “Donai Almos” LLC, where he was briefed on the preparation measures for welcoming high-level guests.
He then inspected the construction works of “Sayr Sughd” LLC and later reviewed the ongoing activities and preparations for the visit of distinguished guests at the new building of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration, getting acquainted with the organizational works.
On September 26, 2025, the Economic Advisor and Head of the Economic Department of the Office of Economic and Environmental Activities of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Mr. M. Emrah Soganji, visited the Administration of the Sughd Free Economic Zone (FEZ) to familiarize himself with its activities and potential.
The Head of the FEZ “Sughd” Administration, Mr. Muhammadzoda Muhammad Sultan, welcomed the guests in the Administration’s conference hall and provided detailed information about the advantages, priority projects, and strengths of the FEZ “Sughd”. Several projects and opportunities for future cooperation were also discussed.
In the afternoon of May 27, 2025, a delegation from the Republic of Belarus led by the Governor of the Minsk Region, Alexey Kushnarenko, visited the Administration of the Sughd Free Economic Zone to familiarize themselves with its operations and to expand economic cooperation.
The Head of the Sughd FEZ Administration, Muhammadzoda Muhammad Sulton, warmly welcomed the guests at the entrance and provided detailed information about the customs and tax benefits offered by the FEZ. The Administration also expressed its readiness to strengthen economic relations.
The guests then visited several enterprises operating within the Sughd FEZ, including: LLC “Asiapolitex”, LLC “KF Fortuna-Ko”, and LLC KM TT “Archa-mebel”, where they had discussions with company leadership about their activities in the zone.
At the conclusion, both sides exchanged commemorative gifts.
The delegation from the Minsk Region of Belarus also visited the historical and cultural complex “Khujand Fortress” and the exhibition of goods and products of the region’s enterprises, including those of the Sughd FEZ: LLC KM TT “Silcoat Boya”, LLC “KF Fortuna Ko”, LLC “Asiapolitex”, LLC “Tojpanel”, LLC “Sayr Sughd”, LLC “Sayyohi Sughd”, and LLC “Samandi Sughd”. The products of these enterprises received high praise from the visitors.
On May 20, 2025, in accordance with the program of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the media and local bloggers, along with officials from the Ministry, visited the Administration of the Sughd Free Economic Zone (FEZ) for a press tour aimed at familiarizing themselves with the zone’s activities.
The Head of the Sughd FEZ Administration, Muhammadzoda Muhammad Sulton, warmly welcomed the guests in the administration’s conference hall. He gave a report on the zone’s operations and its offered benefits. The media representatives received detailed answers to their questions. In addition, a presentation was delivered by U. Rahimova, Lead Specialist of the Department for International Relations and Investment Promotion. As a token of appreciation and cooperation, the Head of the Administration presented the guests with commemorative gifts.
The guests then visited several enterprises operating within the Sughd FEZ, including: JV LLC “Afrang Plastic”, LLC “Asiapolitex”, JV LLC “Archa-mebel”, LLC “KF Fortuna-Ko”, JV LLC “Tajprof”, LLC “Sayr Sughd”, the Institute of Industry and Service, LLC “Samandi Sughd”, and “Sayyohi Sughd”. They observed the production processes and recorded video footage on-site.

In the afternoon of May 19, 2025, a delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic, led by the Director of the State Institution “Kyrgyz Export” Export Development and Promotion Center under the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Takirov U.K., visited the Administration of the Sughd Free Economic Zone to get acquainted with its activities and to expand investment cooperation.
The Head of the Administration of the FEZ “Sughd,” Mr. Muhammadzoda Muhammad Sultan, warmly welcomed the guests at the entrance and provided detailed information about the zone’s operations. Information materials about the zone were also distributed to the guests.
The visitors then toured the activities of several enterprises operating within the FEZ “Sughd,” including: LLC “Asiapolitex,” LLC “KF Fortuna-Ko,” LLC “Sayr Sughd,” and LLC JV TT “Afrang Plastic.” They held discussions with the management of these enterprises regarding potential future cooperation.
On May 18, 2025, as part of the Youth Day events in Sughd Province, the National Race was held with the participation of the Chairman of Sughd Province, Rajabboy Ahmadzoda, heads and employees of various organizations and institutions, youth, students, and local residents. The leadership and staff of the Administration of the Sughd Free Economic Zone also took part in this event.
The sporting competition took place in the regional center — the city of Khujand. The race started at the Swimming Pool Complex “20th Anniversary of the Independence of Tajikistan” and continued along Rahim Jalil Street to Rahmon Nabiev Avenue. More than 18,000 people participated in the sporting event, and at the end, memorable gifts were presented to active representatives of organizations and institutions.
The purpose of the race is to promote a healthy lifestyle, support the development of sports, and increase its popularity among the population.
The National Race is a nationwide campaign aimed at improving public health and promoting mass sports. It is held annually on the third Sunday of May, based on the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 28, 2007, “On the National Race Day.”
On February 17, 2025, the Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Aziz Nazar, during his business trip to the Sughd region, visited the industrial enterprises of the FEZ “Sughd”. The leadership of the FEZ “Sughd” administration welcomed the respectable guests at the entrance and provided detailed information about the activities, advantages and benefits of the FEZ “Sughd”.
Later, the guests visited several entities of the FEZ “Sughd”, including LLC JV TT “Tajprof”, LLC “Tojpanel”, LLC “Sayri Sughd”, LLC JV TT “Fortuna Co”, LLC “Asiapolitex”, and LLC “Afrang Plastik”, and had discussions with the management of the enterprises.
